Healthful Pursuit of an LEO Wife is a place for me to share my healthful successes & lessons learned(aka failures, but I like ‘lessons learned’ much better!), my experience as a law enforcement officer’s (LEO) spouse, and how it all collides sometimes. I am on a pursuit of a healthful life and I am an LEO wife.

- Healthful – This word describes everything I want my life to be. I want to focus on activities that are full of health, whether it be going to the gym, ways to clear the mind, my eating habits, etc.
- Pursuit – Although most police pursuits eventually end, my pursuit is ongoing for a lifetime. I’ve changed many habits and made better choices over the past few years and I hope to strengthen those choices and continue to develop activities that work for me.
- LEO Wife –Being a law enforcement officer’s wife does not define me but it is a large part of who I am. Being a wife to a LEO does provide its own challenges and opportunities.
I find inspiration from many blogs and other social media, whether it be fitness related or otherwise. These blogs have touched me, motivated me, taught me, & entertained me and I am here to return the favor. The blogging community is supportive, encouraging, and motivating. It’s a place to help me stay accountable and also share what I’ve learned during my own pursuit. If I can motivate one person to make a lifestyle change, or small changes that lead to a lifestyle change, then I have accomplished what I’ve set out to do.
You may find a new recipe to try, a story about how my LEO’s K9 fits into our family, a helpful suggestion in the Tiny Tip Tuesday feature, or a simple video offering tips on what has worked(or not worked) for me.
Knowledge is power so I hope you will participate and share your successes and lessons learned. I hope you’ll join me in my Healthful Pursuit of an LEO Wife. Find me on Facebook, Twitter, & Pinterest too.
