A Healthy, Happy Home

These days it seems that there is more and more studies being done about the dangers in foods we eat. Artificial sweeteners being linked to hyperactivity and allergies. Nitrates (found in cured and preserved meats), linked to cancer causing agents as well as nausea, vomiting and dizziness. Research on Genetically Engineered Foods showing rats developing stomach ulcers, liver and kidney problems as well as many others. These studies, as well as many others, are just a few reasons why I make a huge effort to feed my family minimally processed foods. On my blog, A Healthy Happy Home, you’ll find lots of healthy eating information and healthy recipes for your family to enjoy!
I am also a huge fitness enthusiast who loves running, spinning and any other type of exercise where I can get my sweat on! I love sharing new workouts with readers during my weekly Fitness Friday segment. On my blog you’ll often see pictures of my little family, theLove Nugget (my 16 month old), my hubby, the White Coyote (our Jack Russell), and I out doing something active such as running, walking, or hiking.
A Healthy Happy Home started as a place to share some healthy, baby friendly recipes with friends and has blossomed into a fun hobby where I can share my love for fitness, healthy eating as well as anything else in between. I hope you’ll check it out and share in this healthy little thing we’ve got going on :-)
Happy reading!
