Hi Fitbloggers! Jamie and Alyse, founders of Fit Approach, here. Fit Approach is your healthy community: we’re a group of health-minded people who come together to inspire and encourage each other in finding and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Fit Approach is the place where everyone from fitness newbies, to ultra-marathoners, to experts from a variety of different health, wellness, and fitness backgrounds (personal trainers, chefs, fitness instructors, massage therapists, life coaches, and nutritionists, to name a few) share their triumphs, challenges, stories, recipes, and more. We encourage our readers to share their own stories, and get support and encouragement from the rest of the community.
We love to share what we call our “fitness aha!” moments, or the moments when we realized it was time to take charge of our health and make some positive changes:
- Jamie had a wake-up call and discovered her life’s passion after she returned from studying abroad in Italy;
- Alyse found herself floundering in a quarter-life health crisis;
- Anna learned how to make healthy versions of her favorite comfort foods and lost 40 pounds and gained a new career in the process;
- Jackie realized that, as an R.N., her flaming hot Cheetos days were numbered;
- …and so many more
!
The best part is, we encourage our community to join the Sweat Pink movement by rocking a pair of our pink shoelaces, which we believe help people jump higher, run farther and faster, and have the confidence and strength to be their best and healthiest selves. Sweat Pink is all about inspiring people to feel strong, confident and tough, no matter who you are or what you look like. We hope you’ll join the over 5,000 people across North America (and beyond!) already sporting pink shoelaces as part of the movement.
Want to join the Sweat Pink movement, share your story, and be a part of our healthy community? We can’t wait to hear from you! Send us an email, or find us on Facebook and Twitter.

Jamie’s story about the obnoxious man poking fun at her pink shoes before the ultra run is priceless. I should buy a pink swim cap for the pool….
Kara recently posted..How I learned to think like a thin person
