I’ve learned over the years that being “fit” for me is much more than just being able to squeeze into my favorite jeans! Yes, I love the feeling of beating a 1/2 marathon PR, the feeling of climbing on the spin bike at 6 am on a Monday morning, and the awesome burn that comes from an intense Bodypump class; but more than just physically, I aim to be “fit” mentally as well. I believe that when someone is both physically and mentally fit, they are better able to enjoy life!
Enjoying my 3rd graders and all the hilarious stories that come along with teaching them; spending down time being silly with my best friends; enjoying being a newlywed with my amazing husband; and hanging out with my loving family all help me to stay mentally “fit.”
