Hey there Fitbloggers! I’m Brittany from Little b’s Healthy Habits where I blog about fitness, clean eating, health, and life in general. Blogging has allowed me to share my experiences, both good and bad, in my adventures in clean eating and weight lifting while helping others do the same along the way. Since starting my blog about 9 months ago, I have learned so much not only about health and fitness but about myself and those I surround myself with. I know now that sometimes the people you expect to be helpful and supportive can in fact be judgmental and negative, and that surrounding yourself with like-minded or open-minded people is more valuable than I could have ever imagined.
I started eating clean in an effort to improve my health and overall quality of life. Prior to this change I was in the nightlife industry which meant fast food at 3am (often), sleeping all day, and an unlimited supply of alcohol. I had finally reached my breaking point and knew I needed to make some changes when my lifestyle began affecting my health. The rest is history and I’m so glad it is, because I’m excited about life now more than ever.
I spend as much of my free time in the kitchen as I possibly can, and I’m constantly coming up with new, clean recipes. Whether I’m taking a classic and making it clean and lean like this, or making up something from scratch like these, the kitchen allows me to be creative and think outside of the box. In addition to my creations in the kitchen, I am in love with going to the gym watching my body change from strength training. My boyfriend is my gym buddy and we are constantly pushing each other to the limit, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
