Struggling with weight for my entire adult life, I finally decided life is too short to live perpetually unhappy. I have recently lost over 50 pounds by cutting out added sugar from my diet, adding veggie juices, and watching my portions; but still have another 30 to go. The No Sugar Sweet Life blog is the next step in my journey towards a happy healthy life… the sweet life, no sugar added.
I never wanted to be one of those people. You know, the ones who let themselves go once they get married. It obviously wasn’t something that was really important to me then. But all of a sudden, I had this other person counting on me: Counting on me to teach her how to live a healthy happy life. I wasn’t doing this myself, so how could I teach her? It was this realization that propelled me to action. And her cute little face:

What I hope to show you and inspire you with is how an ordinary, busy busy busy full-time mom, full-time accountant, full-time wife/helper, and part-time blogger can eat healthy, lose weight, and live a happy healthy life. It’s possible. And you don’t have to feel stuck or like it’s a losing battle. It’s not. You can take control and do something to change your life for the better. You just have to decide it’s worth it and that it’s worth FIGHTING for. And then arm yourself with tips and strategies to do it.
I invite you to come along with me on this journey towards a happy healthy life, no sugar added.
