Hey there Fitbloggers! My name is Courtney and I write the healthy living blog, Sweet Tooth,
Sweet Life.
I began writing my blog in April 2010 as a way of documenting my daily eating and fitness routines, to show that a healthy, balanced lifestyle is attainable for anyone. I love making healthy meals, baking sweet treats, and experimenting with new foods. I never deprive myself of my favorite indulgences, but am constantly striving to maintain an overall healthy attitude about food, fitness, & life.
Honestly, I was not always the healthiest person. My high school and college years were filled with heavily processed foods and snacks and no idea of what the inside of a gym looked like. I guess you could say I was not exactly a good example of “healthy living.”
Eventually, a rough patch in my life ended up transitioning my thoughts about food and fitness to a point where my body issues began taking over my life. All of a sudden, I was in a situation that I felt I could no longer control, and I turned to some disordered eating habits, which I’ve opened up about here and here. It was hard to break free of that place in my life, but I know now that I am a stronger, healthier person for having gone through it.
So now, that I’m a healthy, happy camper, I absolutely love to blog about it! I hope you’ll come on over and take a look…
I promise if you do, you’ll find some pretty delicious recipes, a bunch of killer workout ideas, and some fun fashion posts. Ohh, and you’ll probably find a bunch of pictures of my little cuddle buddy, Cody.
