The Daily Crumb

Hello Fitbloggers!

My name is Kathleen and I blog over at The Daily Crumb.  I am a 27 year old wife, fur mama, attorney, and exercise loving, self proclaimed foodie (whee! that’s a mouthful) living just outside of Chicago.

First things first; I’m going to let you in on a few secrets about myself.  I’m not the perfect eater; I’m not the best photographer.  I’m not the fastest runner or the most balanced yogi.  I don’t have flawless grammer and I sometimes eat frozen yogurt for dinner.  Why do I tell you this?  It is because I truly believe that all of our quirks, imperfections, and quests to be better are what make our lives worthwhile.  I hope that the Daily Crumb offers readers a place of acceptance and inspiration, not one of comparison; a place to come together in similarity rather than feel divided by difference.

Over at The Daily Crumb I blog about, well everything!  You will find tales of my adventures in the kitchen (some successful, some not), daily workouts (be it a 4 mile run, power yoga class, or walk with my dogs), tips for staying healthy in your busy life and my random weekly musings, to name a few.  My life is lived in an effort to maintain happiness and balance.  I believe in brussels sprouts, kale, carrot cake and ice cream; that sometimes a nap is more beneficial than a workout, and that we all have room to grow.  I hope my readers generate strength to lead healthy lives while maintaining their own lives.

The greatest part of blogging, for me, is the interaction I have experienced with other bloggers and readers.  I have found more inspiration, motivation, advice, recipes + smiles through some of my favorites than I ever could have imagined.  With my own blog, I do my best to provide these things to my own readers.   Hope you will stop by The Daily Crumb and say hi!

Yes, I agree and we would be better off and far more healthy if we can all embrace our imperfections!

  2. Love it! Being honest with my readers was something I struggled with because I thought they expected me to be perfect. That was just silly, of course! Good for you! :)
