You know those people who can slip on a pair of sneakers and go for a quick 3-mile jog like it ain’t no big thang? Well, I am not one of those people. My jogging comes in short, spastic spurts. It’s a little crazy—think Phoebe-Buffay style. But my jogging today is a million times better than what I could have done just a few short months ago. My name is Kathleen, my friends call me Kath, and I began The Nut Kase to keep track of my journey to lead a healthy, happy life.
Anyone who has ever met me will tell you, I’m a nut. Plain and simple. And although I may be a bit goofy at times, there is nothing I love more than being in the kitchen. So I began The Nut Kase by sharing a few of some healthy recipes that I created and loved. Namely, Overnight Oats. You will find a lot of oats on the blog! From there I experimented with other interesting breakfast ingredients, like Quinoa, and eventually dabbled into more lunch and dinner themed recipes. Oh yea—don’t forget dessert!
But The Nut Kase is not just a laundry list of recipes from a girl who runs like a crazy person. I’ve tracked my exercises and workout routines for readers out there who are looking to kick their booty in shape, whether you want to experience that AWESOME of completing your first 5K, or you’re looking to give yourself more of a challenge. I may not be the most coordinated runner, but I’m getting there.
Living healthier has made my life happier, and that’s why I love to blog about it, The Nut Kase is a little piece of me that I hope inspires you to get moving, encourages you to try something new in the kitchen, and motivates you to be the best you!

I love it!!

Kath, I know what you mean about not running consistently. Thanks for pointing us to the nut kase, it sounds intriguing and I’m certainly going to look into it.
